Conditions of Travel

  • Honduras departure tax not included in the ticket. Prices subject to change by $ 2.12 Interairport national and international flights $ 46.20
  • Be at airport 1 hour prior on domestic flights and 2 hours prior for international flight.
  • Domestic flights are closed 30 minutes before departure time and international flights are closed 1 hour before departure time.
  • Ticket non refundable and non endorsable.
  • Ticket valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
  • At the time of check-in you must present a valid ID and if you are traveling with kids you must present passport or birth certificate.
  • Date changes made 48 hours prior departure date doesn’t have penalty charges. Changes made less than 48 hours before departure will have a penalty charge and possible fare difference. Changes made the same day of flight will pay $20 for no show in domestic flights and $100 for no show in international flights plus $10 penalty for date change.
  • If you don’t show on the date of flight you would have to pay no show plus a penalty for the date change and the return flight is automatically cancelled.
  • If you cancel the flight at least 24 hours before departure you would have to pay a $15 penalty for cancellation plus the date change.
  • If the ticket is purchased via web or phone you must present the credit card you use to buy the ticket and the ID of the credit card owner at the time of the check-in. Partially used ticket doesn’t apply for name change.
  • A $10 penalty is applied for a change of name on unused tickets and it must be requested 24 hours before travel date.
  • Tickets issued by agency, the name change must be requested by the same person through an email.
  • Baggage allowed on flights to and from Puerto Lempira is: 50 pounds and 10 pounds on carry on.
  • Baggage allowed on flights to and from Copan is: 25 pounds and 10 pounds on carry on. Baggage allowed on flights to and from La Ceiba, San Pedro Sula, Tegucigalpa, Utila, Guatemala and Roatán is: 35 pounds and 10 pounds on carry on.
  • Excess baggage is charged if this passes the permitted per passenger, this will be done according to the weight and route.
  • There will only be 3 penalty exceptions for each ticket either by open ticket, canceled or no show.
  • Promotion rates don’t apply on other discounts, STARMILES are not accumulated. Promotion rates are only valid on specific flights, if its not use on that specific date the ticket is lost.
  • Promotion rates don’t apply name change, date change and route.
  • Passengers traveling with weapons must pay $10 each way for weapon (Military or policeman with their identification card do not pay for their service weapon, if you carry more than one must pay $10 each way for weapon)
  • CM Airlines has the right to deny boarding access if the passenger does not meet the security bases, laws, rules, procedures violations, misconduct or when it may cause discomfort to the crew or passengers.
  • Any baggage claim must be carried out immediately after the flight or before leaving the airport.
  • For safety reasons the transport of the following items are prohibited: A- compressed gasses (flammable, non-flammable or poisonous) as camping gas or scuba tanks. B- Corrosive materials: acids, alkaline, wet cell batteries, etc.
  • C- explosives: fireworks, etc. D- Flammable liquids or soils: heating oil, matches or articles which are easy ignited.
  • E- Radioactive materials. F- Oxidizing materials such as bleaching powders and peroxides. G- Poisonous or toxic materials. H- Mercury or magnetic materials.
  • Paint or any liquid associated. J- Any other item that the carrier considers dangerous. Exceptions: medicines and toiletries which are necessary or appropriate during the trip, such as lacquers, perfumes and medicines containing alcohol.
