Onboard Entertaiment

  • CM Airlines offers onboard entertainment on every flight, you will find the daily newspaper and magazines. Some flights offer audio with headsets and a short movie/ tourism guide of Honduras.

Use of personal electronic devices (PED)

The use of Personal Electronic Devices and telecommunication devices onboard is allowed in certain circumstances. This information is to help you ensure you are using your device correctly onboard our aircraft.

Mobile phones

Mobile phones can be used at certain times onboard the aircraft prior to departure and after landing.

Mobile phones can be used prior to departure and on arrival in the following areas/times:

  • When passengers are embarking/disembarking
  • Onboard prior to the last aircraft doors closing
  • After landing when aircraft is taxiing to the terminal
  • Mobile phones cannot be used once the last aircraft door has been closed and they must remain off until the aircraft has landed.

Flight mode

The use of mobile phones or personal digital assistants (PDA’s) is allowed after take off, until the descent for landing.

Flight mode must be selected on the device prior to the last door closing on departure. Selecting flight mode will disable the transmitting function on your device and will prevent the ability to make calls or send emails.

Mobile phones and PDAs without flight mode capability activated may NOT be used in-flight.

Personal Electronic Device (PED) onboard usage

May be used at anytime onboard the aircraft.

Transmitting with flight mode

PED Type

  • Mobile phones with flight mode capability
  • Laptop or personal computers
  • Electronic games
  • Music devices (AM/FM receivers, CD players, Mini Disc, MP3 players, iPods and Walkmans)
  • Tablet computers and eBooks (iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tablet, Amazon Kindle, etc)
  • Wi-Fi accessible devices: computers, PDAs
  • Bluetooth accessible devices: computers, PDAs, headsets, GPS receivers and cameras

Restrictions for Use
These devices must have their transmission capabilities deactivated prior to the cabin door closing in order to be used in-flight. Devices with transmission capabilities deactivated (i.e. flight mode) may be used in-flight after take-off, until the descent for landing.
