Baggage
ServicesBaggage Information
At CM Airlines, we want to make your travel experience as seamless and cost-effective as possible. Whether you’re traveling light for business or need extra room for a longer trip, we offer fare options tailored to your baggage needs.
For those who don’t require checked baggage, we provide fares without it, giving you a more affordable option. All our fares include a 10-pound personal item, which can be conveniently stored in the cabin’s overhead compartments.
Explore your fare class to see the baggage options available and choose what works best for you!
Excess baggage will be accommodated based on space availability in the aircraft. The allowed checked baggage may vary depending on the fare purchased, whether through our direct channel or one of our partner companies.
An additional charge of $1.00 per pound will apply for excess baggage. Please note that if your fare does not include baggage, you will be charged for the full weight of your luggage at check-in.
Carry-On Baggage
Preparing Your Carry-On Baggage
CM Airlines allows only one personal item weighing no more than 10 lbs to travel in the cabin, which must be stored in the overhead compartments or under the seat in front of you. Acceptable items include a purse, a small briefcase, or a backpack.
All carry-on items traveling with you must be reported and handed over to our staff at the counter for weighing, tagging, and determining if any additional charges are needed for excess weight.
Types of Carry-On Items Allowed
At Time of Check-In
During check-in, you will be asked the following security questions. Please keep them in mind when packing:
- Did you pack your luggage yourself? Did anyone ask you to carry any items in your luggage?
- Are you carrying any sharp objects, flammable items, matches, lighters, or aerosols in your luggage?
Please remember that if you are carrying cash, you can travel with up to US $10,000 (ten thousand dollars) without having to declare it. Otherwise, you must declare the origin and purpose of the cash to the authorities.
To ensure the safety of your electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, cell phones, and others, you should carry them with you in the cabin as a carry-on item.
Using Electronic Devices On Board
Electronic devices are allowed on board. However, for safety reasons, the use of electronic devices or headphones is not permitted during takeoff, ascent, descent, and landing. Please note that smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is prohibited aboard the aircraft.
Prepare Before Boarding
Please make sure to check in all items that will be placed in the aircraft’s cargo hold.
Personal items must be shown to our check-in agents. If you have any questions about an item you wish to bring, feel free to reach out to us. Otherwise, items that are not allowed in the cabin may be confiscated, excess baggage fees may apply, or the item may be considered for shipping as cargo, subject to space availability.

Prohibited Items and Packaging Materials
- Soft plastic bags and packaging made from basic materials (e.g., household plastic wrap) are not allowed. Such packaging can damage airport facilities and disrupt baggage handling processes.
- Items listed under the dangerous goods section will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- Any baggage that is visibly damaged, improperly packed, or non-compliant with our regulations will be declined.
Prohibited and Regulated Goods
- Lighters, electronic cigarettes, and spare lithium batteries are not allowed in checked baggage nor in the cargo hold of our aircraft.
Lost or Damaged Baggage
Baggage must meet the specified weight limits to be transported without additional charges.
The baggage allowance (permitted weight) depends on the fare purchased and may vary according to the purchase channel or promotional restrictions.
CM AIRLINES is not responsible for damages to baggage caused by excess weight, damaged or worn-out zippers, broken wheels, dents, or surface impact on your suitcase.
Baggage may sustain damage during transfer from the check-in counter to the aircraft or during airport handling, including areas beyond the airline’s control (e.g., X-ray machines, sudden movements due to turbulence, etc.).
